Compression therapy including the sequential circulator lymphedema pump is covered by all private and commercial insurance companies. Medicare covers the pump for circumstances in which a cancer surgery with lymph node removal, radiation, and venous stasis ulcerations non-healing for more than 6 months are present. Medicare also requires a substantial amount of documentation on the condition in order to cover compression therapy.
